A few weeks ago, I met up with my BFFs for a movie and dinner. We saw The Help (which was fantastic, by the way – but not as good as the book!) and went to Uno’s for dinner.

It was a lovely day, but I had some personal issues in the back of my mind, so I wasn’t completely into it.

In the parking garage, I had a quick heart-to-heart with one of the girls. She’s the closest thing to a second sister I have – we’ve basically been best friends since first grade. I guess she picked up on how I was feeling and asked about the issue and how *I* was doing. No one had asked me that in a long time, and it was so nice to know that someone cared about me.

I realized during that talk that she is one of those people who will always have my back and always be there for me, no matter what. It was a great feeling and I realized how lucky I am to have someone like that in my life.

When I got home, I thought, “I must do something in return.” I looked through my email and saw a ProFlowers offer. 18 Rainbow Roses for $19.99 (before shipping of course). I was sold. After all was said and done, my order totaled $34.60 – a great price for 18 beautiful roses!

I have ordered from ProFlowers before (typically around holidays and birthdays), but I am by no means a frequent buyer. I’m not sure if they had planned to upgrade every order made that day or if I was just lucky. Either way, it’s truly appreciated. My friend definitely deserves those extra blooms, that’s for sure! She must have some good karma working in her favor 🙂

The flowers arrived right on time! I asked her how many there were, and sure enough, two dozen roses were delivered! She was kind enough to share this photo:
